ISO 22504:2025 specifies requirements for the design, manufacture, and arrangement of both onshore and offshore pig traps. ISO 22504:2025 does not cover installations for automatic launchers or self-contained pigging valves. It also excludes temporary pig traps used exclusively during the construction phase.
